A geothermal system is composed of pipes buried outside your home ( a closed horizontal or vertical circuit in which an antifreeze mix circulates or by pumping water from the ground), an internal circuit (under floor heating, radiators or blowing radiators) and a heat pump linking the two circuits.
A geothermal heat pump works on the same principal as a refrigerator:
The tubes are laid horizontally 60 cm deep. Those tubes made of polyethylene or copper are pressurized and filled with an antifreeze mix or refrigerating fluid. This system requires 1.5 or twice the surface of the house to heat up.
The circuit pumps up the water from the ground through a 8 to 50 m drilling according to the region you live in. The heat pump gets the energy contained in the water which is at constant temperature all year round.ant les régions.
Tubes are installed into 50 to 80 m deep drillings. Those tubes are pressurised and filled with an antifreeze mix. They recover the heat deep down through the antifreeze fluid circulation.
This system allows you to heat all types of houses, room by room, in the winter and as a cooling system in the summer. This heating circuit is adaptable to all types of existing heating systems and can replace a traditional oil or gas boiler.
